Carmeliza, commonly known as Zha-Zha in the Filipino Community, is a first-generation Filipino-American. Like her fellow officers, Miles Guardiano and Lorraine Eloriaga, she is following in her parents’ footsteps as being an officer in PASCO.
Recently, Zha-Zha began to wonder how her parents were able to foster Filipino culture into their family. She suddenly realized it was because of the exposure to the Filipino culture she experienced with her Nanay’s active participation in the Filipino community. Zha-Zha wanted to pass this down to her own children and what better way than to lead by example.
