Lorraine was born in Denver, Colorado to Dr. Amelia Ashmann and Mr. Marshall Ashmann. From an early age, Lorraine has been an integral part of the Philippine American Society of Colorado (PASCO) and contributor to the community. At the age of 5 she was already learning and performing traditional Filipino dances at cultural presentations. She has an inherent love for her Filipino culture and community, as modeled by her mother’s life-long service to the community. She is currently the Program Manager for the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival and has a passion for connecting the AANHPI community with the greater community at large.
